This week is Charleston Fashion Week and I had the pleasure of attending as Cator Spark’s guest last night. Cator is editor-in-chief of The Manual and was also one of the Fashion panel judges. We got to ride in style in a nifty van, which is good since they served a lot of champagne at the shows.
I met Cator at his lovely downtown Charleston house before the show and was pretty obsessed with his oyster shell doorknocker:
We met up with this crew, including two friends visiting from Wilmington Jess and Juliana:
One of the highlights of the whole show was the student show from The Art Institute of Charleston. It was very creative with a lot of Lowcountry “touches” including an array of hand made seagrass accessories, my personal favorite:
And I turned on my computer this AM to this lovely post by Chassity Evans of Look. Linger. Love. wearing some of our Charleston Rice Bead bracelets (shot by the talented Gray Benko):
If you live in Charleston and are attending Charleston Fashion Week any other nights, be sure to tag your Instagram photos with the hashtag #cfwstyle for a chance to win our gold Charleston Rice Bead necklace, modeled here by Charleston Shop Curator’s Andrea Serrano who has some cute street style pics from last night on her blog:
Finally, next week my friend Sidney Wagner who owns an amazing interiors shop and design business in Mt. Pleasant called The Eclectic is hosting myself and Lauren Lail of Library Vintage for a workshop where we will all be sharing some tips and trick for vintage hunting. If you live in Charleston, consider joining us. The first 25 people to RSVP get a gift bag!
